Ming Dao Returns to SETTV to Film New Idol Drama

After Ming Dao filmed idol drama "Ying Ye 3+1" three years ago, because his pay was too low so he went to Mainland to expand his career. As idol drama king, his pay increased to 710,000NTD per episode. These three years, Ming Dao's "Smile In My Heart" and "Knock Knock Loving You" etc couldn't make a breakthrough to his record when he was in SETTV. In order to keep his popularity in both Mainland and Taiwan, Ming Dao is willing to give up high pay in Mainland and return to Taiwan, trying to stablize his market.

These years Ming Dao and Ethan Ruan are being compared to each other. In 2005, Ming Dao gained popularity with SETTV's "The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog." He then refused to film "Fated to Love You," and Ethan took this advantage and replaced Ming Dao. "Fated to Love You"s ratings broke Ming Dao's record and became the idol drama with the highest ratings so far. It's hard not to think Ming Dao regretted his choice.

SETTV's upcoming idol drama "Chong Wu Yan" (鐘無艷) has been having conflict in finding male lead. From Ethan Ruan to Eddie Peng, but because Ethan wants to pursue his movie career, and Eddie demands a high pay, they both didn't make it. Now Ming Dao is back to Taiwan, SETTV would rebuild his image in this new drama.
